WHAT IS IT ?

The Great Alpine Pick is a Convention that is held annually in the town of Harrietville in Victoria

Held on the last weekend in February.

The Great Alpine Pick invites Bluegrass and Old Timey Music artists and enthusiasts to come down to enjoy a great series of concerts and playalong sessions and join in the many jams that are bound to happen. at the infamous rotunda and all around town.

WHERE IS IT ?

Harrietville is approximately 4 hrs from Melbourne.

Head up the Hume highway, turn right at Wangaratta and follow the signs to Harrietville

WHEN IS IT ?

The 2025 Great Alpine Pick is going to be held from

February 21st- 23rd

 

WHAT HAPPENS THERE?

People play and watch live bluegrass and old time music!

WHERE CAN WE STAY?

The hub of the event is the Harrietville Caravan Park, where a lot of the jamming and Sunday morning chalk board happens. Get in touch with the caravan park to organise a spot for your van or tent, or to book one of their on site vans. There are also cabins available just next door.
